Dr. Mitsuhiro Shibayama, Director of the CROSS Neutron Science and Technology Center, has published a new book entitled Introduction to Soft Matter Neutron Scattering through Springer Nature.

The book is primarily intended for researchers who utilize neutron scattering to investigate the structure and dynamics of soft matter systems such as polymers, micelles, and gels, as well as for those planning to begin neutron scattering experiments.
In addition to neutron scattering, the book also serves as an introductory text to scattering methods in a broader sense, including X-ray and light scattering. It is suitable for use as a textbook or reference book in undergraduate, advanced, and graduate-level courses.
Comment from the Author
“I would be truly delighted if this book inspires readers to develop an interest in neutron scattering and serves as a gateway to the field.”
