Proprietary Access to the MLF Beamlines

J-PARC MLF offers to all users the option of Proprietary Access to the beamlines and facilities. In Proprietary Access, the users are not required to publish their research outcomes and have exclusive rights to the data and results that derive from their beamtime. Similarly, proprietary proposals are not evaluated for scientific merit by the usual peer-review mechanism but are subject only to reasonable feasibility and safety screening.

For these privileges, proprietary beamtime incurs a charge that is set by the facility.

For more information on the Terms and Conditions that apply to proprietary use of the J-PARC MLF beamlines, please contact J-PARC Center Users Affairs Section. Your enquiry will be handled confidentiality.
