Eligibility

Graduate students, Postdoctoral fellows and Early career researchers from both universities and companies who want to learn about neutron and muon science are encouraged to apply. (Prospective participants must be certified as radiation workers)

Maximum EnrollmentEnrollment in the School will be limited to thirty (30) participants. In principle, more than half of participants from overseas will be accepted.
ContentsIntroductory lectures on neutron and muon sciences and the application of neutron and muon beams in research. The curriculum also has courses of hands-on experiments using the MLF instruments and instruction in data analysis.
Registration feeJPY 25,000
This fee includes room charge and full board throughout the School (for detail, see below).
  • Meals
    Registration fee covers full board throughout the course starting with breakfast on Tuesday, 20 Nov. and finishing with lunch on Saturday, 24 Nov.
  • Accommodation
    The school reserved a block of rooms at Tokai Dormitory closed to J-PARC from Nov. 19 to 24, for five nights. The room charge will be covered by the school.
